The Saloni Internazionale del Mobile in Milan has closed it’s gates a month ago and I bet you know as well as we do that the industry’s air is buzzing with news, ideas and inspiration. it’s design’s focus this year was to see what two of our brands were installing to kick off the new season. We just can’t get enough new designs in our workshops. And really – most of their new comers were not only hitting the international trend but are also right down the it’s design alley.
Both Prostoria and KFF have preparing their presentations months ahead and have come up with some stylish new designs. We know which ones we fell in love with right away, but which ones would you like to see in your office, show room, studio or private home?
Here is a selection of our top Prostoria and KFF Saloni 2014 products, do you like them as much we do? And which are your favourites? We’d love to see your comments below.

Awwww…Usually you can’t really say that we are about cute things here at it’s design. If you’d asked me, I’d usually say we like the clear and minimal designs with a touch of luxury and perfect finish. Coming from hipster Berlin, these felt products by Parkhaus are still very minimal but – really – they are also very cute. Like their egg cosies David and Victoria. One comes with lop ears one with upright ears. Now guess which one is which and more importantly – why? I can tell you it’s an entertaining question at the dinner table.
Every of our Parkhaus items, from place mats to seat pads and egg cosies comes in 32 colours which allows you give your table a personal touch. And because we think the egg cosies are made to star on every Easter party, we started decorating in Parkhaus style – colourful, minimal, cool, and just a tiny bit silly, fun and CUTE.
Love the felt as much as we do? For orders and more details of all Parkhaus products in our catalogue, click here. Please note that orders for Easter must be placed soon as the product will be individually cut to your specification.
And of course – as always – we’d love to hear your feedback on our products!
Last but not least a big thank you to our photographer Deborah for the pre-easter breakfast session.
Happy early Easter people of good taste!
Over the past 10 years Croatia has become one of Australian’s favourite European holiday destinations. We love the colourful and sunny country with all it’s beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, Balkan food as well as direct and good humoured people. It simply makes a perfect affordable holiday destination of pure indulgence. In fact – let’s speak it out loud- we love it because it reminds us of home but is so very different.
So now there is a young and award winning design and manufacturing company called Prostoria that brings mediterranean sensuality paired with continental rationality directly from Zagreb into Australian homes and offices. The sustainable and adaptable materials perfectly suit our warm climate and the detail focused manufacturing guarantees a long term customer experience with the fun, young and most of all clever designs.
Prostoria was originally founded in 2010 near Zagreb, Croatia under name of “Kvadra” by Tomislav Knezovi. From the start Tomislav worked closely with several collectives of young designers to create unique and well thought through contemporary couches and chairs. Austrian-Croatian design collective NUMEN/FORUSE already design on an international level, whereas Ivana Borovnjak & Roberta Bratovi, the trio Grupa, Sanja Knezovic and design studio Redesign are the newcomers that create Prostoria’s fresh ideas.
If you want to know more about prices and bulk orders please shoot us an email and we will get back to you in the blink of an eye.

I would really be curious to hear what you think? As we begin releasing some of our new Belfakto table ranges. So far the people we have shown have marvelled at these tables and their unique design, the workmanship and engineering. The Belfakto statement when passion takes shape seems to be on the mark.
Unorthodox. Refined. Unexpectedly different. Vibrant. Elegant. These are some words used to describe the complex and elaborate intersecting structures that make up the tables from Belfakto. Is it any surprise that they won the 2013 German Design Council’s Interior Innovation Award for the Xenia table?
I hope you take some time to get to know the collection and find inspiration in these truly unique and amazing furniture pieces.
One thing that has been missing from our range over the years has been a sofa collection. A collection that meets our design requirements. There are so many sofa designs that are… well just rectangular. Boxes.
This changed at the beginning of the year when we met the people from Kvadra. At first it was their designs that stuck my attention, in particular the Segment. However, as we got to know each other it became clear that our philosophies also align. Kvadra is a young company formed in 2010. Much younger than it’s design in terms of existence. Yet our people are a similar age. Kvadra, like it’s design, lays value on the craftsman techniques and quality workmanship, combined with modern machinery and processes. A focus on comfort with the understanding that the desire for aesthetic is part of human need. Being a young dynamic group of people exchanging ideas, curious about new materials, exploring new ways and designs. There are so many parallels between us this was obviously a perfect partnership. Explore their collection and follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter and Google+ as we add new models to the range.
