In the late 1990’s, it’s design established a relationship with the German chair manufacturer Grammer Office Chairs to upholster and distribute their range of seating, with success in the Tiger range of chairs that uses the unique and patented Glide-Tec mechanism.
This was followed by the hugely successful introduction of the Uni-System furniture range into the Australian market. Developed by the Austrian furniture manufacturer Neudörfler, and recognised by the industry in being awarded numerous prizes, including the Red-Dot award. Uni-System was also a new step, leading to the boutique desking range Mind (further developed into what is now known as Motion) and the sophisticated and refined Mark furniture collection.
It was at a furniture fair in Germany, in the mid 2000’s that it’s design was introduced to KFF, who impressed at the time with the Unit, Texas and the very popular Flexx chairs. Their furniture designs continue to be avant-garde yet maintain a timeless aesthetic appeal. Most pieces fit comfortably in the home and also the office.
Renz is a natural partnership with countless synergies. At the forefront of desk and table design the furniture pieces are without compromise at the pinnacle of quality. Renz stems from near Stuttgart an area in Germany that is home to some of the worlds most revered companies namely Mercedes Benz and Porsche. This attention to detail, the aesthetic and quality of workmanship is well ingrained in the people of the area and explains the huge interest in ranges such as Sono and Lane.
